Standing on the Edge of Forever

17 "Get yourself ready! Stand up and say to them whatever I command you. Do not be terrified by them, or I will terrify you before them. 18 Today I have made you a fortified city, an iron pillar and a bronze wall to stand against the whole land—against the kings of Judah, its officials, its priests and the people of the land. 19 They will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you and will rescue you," declares the LORD. Jeremiah 1:17-19

Have you ever been in a place in your life where God brings you to a place where the road ahead is laid in front of you? You see the twists, the turns, the highs and the lows and you know that the road will be hard but rewarding. Welcome to my present. I see God's plan in front of me and can't help but be amazed and humbled by it.

"Am I worthy to carry this mantel, no, not a chance!!!" I scream it at the top of my lungs, "God can I really do this?"
"No", God replies, "but I can!!!"

You see God only asks of us that we make ourselves available for Him to do the work through us. The very minute that we believe it is us and not God doing the work, our endeavors come to a dismal demise. The moment we revel in the greatness of the past and forget to pray for the future, we fail. And the moment we put our faith in the programs and not the Creator, we meet a very large brick wall. So I ask you, where do you stand? What is your faith in? How can we reach the world for Christ?

Answers: I stand on God's promises, my faith is in His Word, and we reach the world for Christ through His truth. Once we realize these essential truths then everything else just falls into place because God is now running the show.

Til next time, May God Bless and Keep You.
